Day 1: Goodbye Singapore Hello Taiwan

Getting all hyped up and prepared for this trip, everyone managed to be on time at 8am @ the airport.
This means 'all gather' from Mr Chris Quah's action in the photo below.

 Setting off!
Economy class:
This airplane provides updated shows and movies for us to watch during our 4 hours journey there.
Lunch on board: Halal food provided for the muslim students (Curry chicken)
Finally landed in Taiwan at 3:15pm!
Look at the different type of drinks they have in their vending machine! The prices are almost the same as Singapore though!
One of the biggest convenience store located in the Airport! They even have our most favourite 'lok lok' in RP there! All types of food they have which are different from what our local convenience store would sell.
Pretty mountains while on the expressway

A 2 hour bus ride to Toucheng Farm located on the hillside. Temperature got even lower in the night around 25-26 degrees Celsius!
We checked in our luggage first thing we got to Toucheng, we shared with almost 8-9 people together in this room. The tour guide said that girls in Taiwan are more independent, so there weren't any staffs that would help us to get our luggage in our room. Instead we have to do it ourselves. It was a simple and comfortable room with futons.
 Dinner time! BBQ county style
Lantern making after dinner! We had lots of fun making our own lantern and writing our wishes on it!
Finally letting our lantern with our wishes up into the air!
Ended our first night with fireworks bought by some of our students at one of the convenience store located in the farm.
